John I would like to thank you once again for the training you provided myself and members of my staff. As I mentioned, I have used elevated work platforms on numerous occasions, without any training, as have most of the staff members who have taken part in your course. After consulting with staff who have recently taken your course, the general consensus is that it was well worth the effort. Even the more recalcitrant workers who had to be ‘strongly encouraged’ to take part have admitted that they are now much more confident and knowledgeable in the use of the equipment, which they earlier used with no thought for safety. I think everyone was surprised when it became evident through your well-presented training course that there is a lot more to use the equipment effectively and safely than they previously believed. From I saw you provided them with a great training session and the guys are putting it to good use while they are on their log books. Recently, a few of our Project team members attended the Elevated Work Platform training presented by John Parker. The feedback I received from the team was that it was run professionally, with ongoing hands-on engagement with the class and above all else engaging. The guys were particularly impressed with the focus on emergency, rescue and safety aspects of the risks. Prior to commencing this course, I had never driven an EWP, but after the thorough training, you provided me and the other Building Asset Services course participants we now have a great understanding of the safety principles as well as really good practical skills.
