John I would like to thank you once again for the training you provided myself and members of my staff. As I mentioned, I have used elevated work platforms on numerous occasions, without any training, as have most of the staff members who have taken part in your course. After consulting with staff who have recently taken your course, the general consensus is that it was well worth the effort. Even the more recalcitrant workers who had to be ‘strongly encouraged’ to take part have admitted that they are now much more confident and knowledgeable in the use of the equipment, which they earlier used with no thought for safety. I think everyone was surprised when it became evident through your well-presented training course that there is a lot more to use the equipment effectively and safely than they previously believed. I will ensure that all future employees who are required to work at height are made to attend your course. Thanks again
I would like to thank you for providing the forklift training for the 8 guys at Heat and Control. From I saw you provided them with a great training session and the guys are putting it to good use while they are on their log books. The guys all informed me to say how good the training was and that you as the instructor made them feel at ease and how you answered all their questions. They were also most impressed with the training provided. I would have no hesitation in recommending you and your company to anyone wanting to have some forklift training done.
Recently, a few of our Project team members attended the Elevated Work Platform training presented by John Parker. The feedback I received from the team was that it was run professionally, with ongoing hands-on engagement with the class and above all else engaging. The guys were particularly impressed with the focus on emergency, rescue and safety aspects of the risks. Let me take this opportunity to thank John for a professionally driven course which added value to my team and the Project. We would have no issues engaging John and Sheer Workforce again for our training requirements.
Prior to commencing this course, I had never driven an EWP, but after the thorough training, you provided me and the other Building Asset Services course participants we now have a great understanding of the safety principles as well as really good practical skills. You are a very knowledgeable instructor with a lot of useful driving tips to safely operate one of these machines. I would recommend this business to anyone. Great job John and thanks once again.
John has trained some of our staff in working at heights and his rapport with our staff and delivery was excellent. He has trained an overwhelming majority of sub-contractors staff in Yellow card training at the Indooroopilly Shopping Centre, Brookfield Multiplex project. His knowledge, professionalism & practical instruction is highly regarded.
I attended Elevated Work Platform training (presented by John Parker) along with approximately fourteen other staff members from our company. This training exceeded my expectations. John’s training style was very professional and practical. John constantly engaged the class by providing real life and realistic scenarios and this facilitated a very educational and productive discussion. Many training courses are often overloaded with technical jargon and information that isn’t relevant to the task at hand. The course presented by John was not an average run-of-the-mill training session. John is obviously committed and passionate about delivering effective training and his approach and delivery methods get to the heart of the matter; he put things into perspective and provided insight to everyone (including some experienced plant operators) about relevant hazards and risks associated with operating an EWP. I was particularly impressed with the focus on emergency/rescue; the use of ground controls and emergency lowering procedures; optimal positioning of EWP; properly assessing the ground/surface conditions, etc. I’ve spoken to others who attended this training and they all made positive comments. Thank you John for providing such a high calibre training session that will undoubtedly have a positive impact on those who participated.
Hi John, I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for putting my blokes through a very informative, comprehensive and easily understandable training course last week. Great stuff and very informative!
